Empty Nest is a poem of solitude and grief caused by losing one’s family or offsprings. Some things are not up to us but most of the time it’s about the choices we make that are in favor or in the detriment of one’s ego.
The necklace urges the viewer to have a talk with himself. Life is temporary. What do we leave behind if we leave nothing? What is our role here on Earth? What does family mean and what are its values?
These are just a few of the essential questions, the answers that everyone should be looking for.
